Allana was a player for Australia in Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to miss many years prior to making the switch back to rugby league. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and was a star for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana can also be found as a frequent radio personality, appearing regularly on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has also earned a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson holds the rare distinction of playing for Australia in three sports - rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL is out of the game. Ferguson ruptured her ACL four times before she was 15, 17 and 20. After the fourth time she suffered the injury, her playing career was ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker was removed from early from the squad after suffering an ACL tear in the left side for the fourth time. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS' player confirmed the situation in an interview with The Courier Mail this week after suffering a niggle while training back in November.
